Becoming a Guest

Welcome to Living Potential Inc.

At Living Potential Inc. (LPI), we do not strictly serve individuals just in early recovery. People choose our supportive, community-style living for many reasons—whether seeking accountability, rebuilding life routines, navigating transitional phases, or desiring a strong, sober support network. We view our home as a stepping stone toward living a more independent life.We take a different path from traditional recovery housing by focusing on flexibility, understanding, and real-life integration. Every guest is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, allowing us to offer individualized support, freedom with accountability, and compassion with zero judgement—meeting you where you are to understand your unique circumstances and limitations. We are committed to walking alongside our residents as they rediscover purpose, rebuild confidence, and unlock their full potential for a stronger, healthier future.

Admission Criteria & Expectations

All applicants are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To ensure our community is a good fit, prospective guests must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or over.

  • Have completed treatment prior to moving into any LPI facility.

  • Sobriety commitment: Willingness to maintain absolute sobriety and live in a substance free environment.

  • Financial Responsibility: Potential guests are responsible for securing personal funding for monthly costs, and our incidental deposit (via work, school, or external community resources).

  • Active Daily Schedule: LPI guests are expected to work or attend school. If not working full-time, guests must maintain a structured weekly routine. This may include volunteering, support groups, out-patient programs, and/or community classes.

  • Health & Wellness Engagement: Potential guests are strongly encouraged to connect with outside professionals (counsellors, therapists, psychiatrists, or medical doctors) to support ongoing care.

Program Fees & Funding Support

Living Potential Inc. does not have a one-size-fits-all structure. Because we review every prospective guest on a case-by-case basis, program fees can be tailored to each individual's specific needs and level of care. Circumstances that require additional staff support—such as more frequent drug and alcohol testing, increased supervision and check-ins, can and may adjust the overall fee.

Regardless of your tailored support plan, all living costs, program fees, and incidental deposits are the individual responsibility of the guest. While LPI is a private facility and does not provide direct financial subsidies, we understand that taking this next step can be challenging. Our team is always happy to guide you toward external community resources, social services, and support programs to help you secure funding so you can start on the right foot.
